Designed for use with the mach trim compensator and yaw damper linear servo actuators installed on DC-9/MD80 aircraft, this line checker provides a means of accurately positioning and testing the actuators. A toggle switch applies power to the actuator drive motors to extend or retract the actuating shafts to obtain a coarse zero reading on one front panel meter. Another front panel meter is then used to obtain a null reading while adjusting the position of the actuating shaft manually. |
