Designed to check and troubleshoot the pressure-operated synchro transmitter, synchro receiver, and associated indicating devices comprising the engine pressure ratio indicating system, this line checker performs all functions with the engine inoperative. The line checker simulates the engine pressure ratio transmitter by means of a synchro and calibrated dial assembly making possible a functional check of indicator accuracy at any engine pressure ratio setting, plus a functional check of the friction and response time of the indicator pointer and digital counter drive mechanism. Several different models are available because of differences between airplane systems currently in use. |
